The Part 1 of PTE

The test includes Personal Introduction followed by some questions to assess Speaking and Writing skills of the test taker through tasks like Read aloud, Repeat sentence, Describe image, re-tell lecture, answer short questions, summarize written text or write an essay. Part 2 evaluates Reading skills through multiple choice or choose single answer, re-ordering of sentences to make a paragraph, and filling the blanks types of questions. The Part 3 tests the Listening skills of the candidate through tasks like summarizing spoken tests, choosing multiple answers, highlighting correct summary, selecting missing word, highlighting incorrect words, and writing from dictation types of questions.
